Chase’s transfer bonuses run through December 3, 2026, though the Avios promotion ends December 1. Transfers are irreversible and require a redemption plan.

Chase Adds 30% Avios and Wyndham Bonuses, Plus 80% for IHG Points

Chase Ultimate Rewards has three types of transfer bonuses available in November 2026: 30% extra Avios for transfers to British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus; 30% extra points for Wyndham Rewards; and 80% extra points for IHG One Rewards. The hotel programs’ promotions run through December 3, while the Avios bonuses end two days earlier, on December 1.

For travelers who already have a specific redemption in mind, the Avios promotion may be worth checking against the points required and available award seats. The Wyndham and IHG bonuses also increase the number of points deposited, but a larger transfer balance alone doesn’t establish that a transfer is worthwhile. Once moved, Ultimate Rewards points cannot be returned to Chase.

Avios transfers: 30% extra through December 1

Chase is offering 30% bonus Avios on eligible transfers to British Airways Club, Iberia Club and Aer Lingus AerClub. The promotion runs from 12:00 a.m. ET on November 1, 2026, through 11:59 p.m. ET on December 1. Each program credits its bonus to the member’s account after the transfer is complete.

The Avios accounts of British Airways, Iberia, Aer Lingus, Finnair and Qatar Airways can be linked, allowing members to move Avios among them. That gives travelers options for using an Avios balance across these programs. It doesn’t change the bonus terms for the Chase transfer: the stated 30% promotion applies to transfers to British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus.

The British Airways terms specify a minimum transfer of 1,000 Ultimate Rewards points. At the advertised rate, a transfer of 1,000 points earns 1,300 Avios in total: 1,000 from the transfer and 300 bonus Avios. The bonus may take up to seven days to appear. To qualify, members need a British Airways Club account in good standing and an open Chase card account that isn’t in default. Iberia and Aer Lingus describe the same promotion dates and 30% bonus, with the bonus credited to the relevant loyalty account after the transfer.

Avios transfers are subject to each program’s rules, and redemptions depend on availability. Taxes, fees and carrier-imposed charges may apply to British Airways redemptions and upgrades. Check the redemption requirements and the specific flights you want before transferring: the bonus doesn’t guarantee award space, a suitable route or a particular travel date.

Wyndham Rewards: 30% extra through December 3

Ultimate Rewards transfers to Wyndham Rewards receive a 30% bonus from 12:00 a.m. ET on November 1 through 11:59 p.m. ET on December 3, 2026. Wyndham requires a minimum transfer of 1,000 points, with transfers made in 1,000-point increments. A 1,000-point transfer produces 1,300 Wyndham Rewards points, and the bonus should arrive within seven days after the transfer is complete.

Members must be enrolled in Wyndham Rewards and in good standing, and their Chase card account must be open and not in default. Points moved to Wyndham are governed by that program’s terms and can’t be transferred back to Ultimate Rewards. The source author says they can’t assess whether Wyndham’s points make this a reasonable deal. Travelers should compare their intended redemption with the points required before moving a balance.

IHG One Rewards: 80% extra through December 3

The IHG promotion adds 80% to eligible transfers completed between 12:00 a.m. ET on November 1 and 11:59 p.m. ET on December 3, 2026. With a 1,000-point transfer, the account receives 1,800 IHG One Rewards points: the original 1,000 plus 800 bonus points. IHG may take up to seven days to deposit the bonus.

Members need an IHG One Rewards account in good standing and an open Chase card account that isn’t in default. The transferred points become IHG points and can’t be moved back to Chase. The terms also say these bonus points don’t qualify toward IHG elite status. Redemption rules, availability, and benefits vary by region and brand.

The source author argues that the 80% headline bonus isn’t compelling: IHG points can be purchased for 0.5 US cents each, and the author estimates that even with the bonus, the transfer values Ultimate Rewards at 0.5 US cents per point. In the author’s view, a 200% bonus would be needed for the transfer to make sense. That assessment is the author’s, and travelers should weigh the value of a particular IHG redemption against the points they would give up.

Make the redemption plan first

These promotions add points to a transfer; they don’t ensure those points will cover a useful booking. Before moving a balance, check the program’s redemption rules and whether the trip or stay you want is available. The different end dates also matter: Avios transfers must be completed by December 1, while Wyndham and IHG transfers qualify through December 3. Chase points that have been transferred are no longer available in Ultimate Rewards, so the practical takeaway is to transfer only when the intended use is clear.
