Qantas is making every seat available as a Classic Reward on selected 2027 flights. Book from 6 to 8 November 2026; taxes and charges apply.

Qantas is setting aside every seat in every cabin on selected flights for Classic Flight Rewards, giving frequent flyers a defined window to book trips to Tokyo, Paris and Hobart in 2027. The offer applies only to the listed services, so the dates and routes will need to fit travellers’ plans.
Bookings open at 9am AEDT on 6 November 2026 and close at 11.59pm AEDT on 8 November. The points prices are one-way rates and exclude taxes, fees and carrier charges, which are payable in addition. Qantas says the quoted points and charges were accurate on 3 November 2026 and may change.

Seats can be booked in one direction or as part of a return itinerary. The points required vary by route and cabin, and a Points Plane seat does not earn Qantas Points or Status Credits under the terms described for Classic Flight Rewards. The offer is for selected Qantas-operated flights; it is not available on Jetstar.
Tokyo flights in January
The Tokyo services are scheduled for 5 January 2027 from Australia and 12 January from Japan. Sydney’s flights serve Haneda, while Melbourne and Brisbane connect with Narita.
- Sydney to Tokyo (Haneda): QF25 and QF59 on 5 January 2027.
- Tokyo (Haneda) to Sydney: QF26 and QF60 on 12 January 2027.
- Melbourne to Tokyo (Narita): QF79 on 5 January 2027.
- Tokyo (Narita) to Melbourne: QF50 and QF80 on 12 January 2027.
- Brisbane to Tokyo (Narita): QF61 on 5 January 2027.
- Tokyo (Narita) to Brisbane: QF62 on 12 January 2027.
For Sydney and Melbourne, Economy starts at 36,200 points and Business at 98,400 points, plus taxes, fees and carrier charges. Brisbane’s starting rates are 29,000 points in Economy and 82,100 in Business. Qantas lists an example charge of A$378 alongside the 82,100-point one-way Business reward from Brisbane to Tokyo (Narita); that figure is dated 3 November 2026 and can change.
The listed fares offer a fixed set of January travel dates, rather than broad availability across the season. Travellers should check the precise flight and cabin during booking, since cabin options vary by route and reward seats remain subject to capacity controls.
Paris itineraries include stopovers
Two long-haul services make up the Paris offer: QF255 from Sydney to Paris via Singapore on 22 February 2027, and QF34 from Paris to Sydney via Perth on 18 March. The routing differs by direction, so the return journey does not simply retrace the outbound path.
- Economy starts at 63,500 points.
- Premium Economy starts at 124,700 points.
- Business starts at 166,300 points.
All three rates are one-way and exclude taxes, fees and carrier charges. Qantas gives A$435 as the charge for a Sydney-to-Paris Premium Economy reward at 124,700 points, based on the figures recorded on 3 November 2026. The actual amount and points price should be checked at booking.
Hobart services from three cities
The domestic flights cover Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, with outbound services on 12 January and return-direction flights on 19 January 2027.
- Sydney to Hobart: QF1533 and QF1535 on 12 January; Hobart to Sydney: QF1532 and QF1534 on 19 January.
- Melbourne to Hobart: QF1291 and QF1297 on 12 January; Hobart to Melbourne: QF1292 and QF1296 on 19 January.
- Brisbane to Hobart: QF1546 on 12 January; Hobart to Brisbane: QF1547 on 19 January.
Sydney–Hobart and Brisbane–Hobart rewards start at 13,800 points in Economy and 29,000 in Business. Melbourne–Hobart is priced from 9,200 points in Economy and 19,300 in Business. Qantas cites A$61 in taxes, fees and carrier charges for the one-way Melbourne–Hobart Economy reward at 9,200 points, based on 3 November 2026.
Booking conditions to check
Availability is limited and subject to capacity controls. Taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable to Qantas by an accepted payment card, with any amounts payable to third parties at the airport excluded from that description. Prices are quoted at booking and can change. Qantas also says that some flights may have no Classic Flight Rewards available outside the listed allocation.
The offer’s value depends on having flexibility around the specified dates and being comfortable with the additional charges. Its main draw is the stated availability across all seats and cabins on these particular flights; it does not establish wider reward availability on other services. Check the itinerary, cabin, final points total and charges before completing a booking.
See Qantas’ Points Planes page for booking details and route conditions. Further information is available under Classic Flight Rewards.
The terms also describe family transfers: members must have held a Qantas Frequent Flyer membership for at least three months, and the minimum transfer is 1,500 points to an eligible family member. Transfers cannot be cancelled or reversed and do not count as account activity for points-validity purposes. See membership terms, Family Transfers and the Family Transfers terms.
