New Hyatt Promotion: One Elite Qualifying Night For Each US$1000 In APAC F&B Spend (Up To 10 Nights)

World of Hyatt published a new, creative promotion offering one elite qualifying night (up to 10) for each US$1000 spent on F&B charges at participating hotels, which is something they never had before.

This promotion popped up this evening in my Hyatt App and might be targeted based on account location and other factors Hyatt uses to package these campaigns.

I have to admit the threshold for this is pretty high unless you throw some party or corporate event because racking up US$1000 to get the elite night (let alone multiple) requires some pretty hungry patrons, especially since alcohol doesn’t count in many places based on local regulations.

This campaign tracks “eligible Non-Stay Charges at participating food and beverage outlets at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts in Chinese Mainland, India, Korea, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore between October 27, 2026, and December 18, 2026.”

You can access this offer on Hyatt’s site here:

While I do visit quite a few hotels here and there to dine, I don’t think I’ve ever spent $1000 in a month, and qualifying nights are much easier (and cheaper) to generate than this.

However, if you throw a corporate event such as a Christmas party and give the hotel your Hyatt number, you can earn a decent number of points as well as EQN.

Keep in mind that this doesn’t work for room charges, you need to give the Hyatt number to the F&B Outlets and pay cash there.

Conclusion

You can earn a maximum of ten (10) Tier-Qualifying Night credits under this promotion while dining at the participating hotels and their F&B outlets when giving the restaurant your World of Hyatt number and paying directly.

This is the first time that Hyatt has had a promotion like this, but I wonder how many customers will actually be able to earn even one night with this, let alone the maximum of 10.

Maybe Hyatt is trying to drum up business for their F&B outlets during the upcoming holiday season, but this is an expensive endeavor to earn one elite night. I registered, but I won’t be earning any, especially since I already completed my Globalist requalification.
